Srinagar 16 July (KNB): India has reported 38,949 new cases of Covid19 and 542 covid fatalities during the last 24 hours, as per Union Health Ministry.
As per the ministry, a total of 3,01,83,876 covid patients have recovered so far in the country and 40,026 patients have been recovered in the last 24 hours across India.
“The active caseload of the country currently stands at 4,30,422, which constitutes 1.39 percent of total cases in India,” said the Health Ministry.
It further said that the daily positivity rate at present is 1.99 percent, less than 3 percent for 25 consecutive days. “Weekly Positivity Rate remains below 5 percent, which is currently at 2.14 percent,” it added.
The ministry further said that 39.53 Cr. vaccine doses have been administered so far under Nationwide Vaccination Drive and testing capacity substantially ramped up with 44.00 Cr. total tests conducted. (KNB)
