Srinagar 23 June (KNB): India has reported 50,848 new cases of Covid19 and 1358 covid fatalities during the last 24 hours, as per Union Health Ministry.
As per the ministry, a total of 2,89,94,855 covid patients have recovered so far in the country and 68,817 patients have been recovered in the last 24 hours across India.
“The active caseload of the country has declined to 6,43,194, which is lowest in 82 days and Recovery Rate increases to 96.56%,” said the Health Ministry.
“Daily recoveries continue to outnumber the Daily New Cases for the 41st consecutive day,” it said, adding that Daily positivity rate at 2.67%, less than 5% for 16 consecutive days.
The ministry further said that 29.46 Cr. vaccine doses have been administered so far under Nationwide Vaccination Drive and a total of 39.59 cr tests total conducted. (KNB)
