Srinagar 05 February (KNB): The weather conditions in different parts of Kashmir improved following the rise in temperature on Thursday night with Srinagar recording 1 degree Celsius after Wednesday night’s 0.4 degree Celsius in the summer capital of Jammu and Kashmir.
As the Meteorological department predicted the coming one week from today to remain dry throughout J&K, the temperature on Thursday night was recorded 1 degree Celsius after long days in Srinagar, giving a break to the recently ended Chillai Kalan’s cold biting conditions.
However, the temperature recorded in Pahalgam was (-3.6 degree Celsius), Gulmarg (-9.4 degree Celsius), Qazigund (-0.8 degree Celsius), Kokernag (-1.3 degree Celsius), Kupwara (0.8 degree Celsius) and Leh (-9.1 degree Celsius).
Furthermore, the MeT last day predicted that the minimum temperature is expected to fall by 2 to 3 degrees from today. (KNB)
