Srinagar, 23 September (KNB): Several prominent figures from diverse backgrounds officially joined the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) at the party’s headquarters in Srinagar today.
In a handout issued to KNB said, Chairman Municipal Council Pulwama Bilal Ahmad Rather led the group of new members, which included esteemed individuals such as Rukhsana Akhter Ab Khaliq Dar, Awqaf Member Ab Kabir Wani, Qaisar Ah Lone of the Transport Union, Abdul Gani Dar from Danger Pora Pulwama, and Arshid Raina, Numberdar from Arihal.
The event attended by PDP President Mehbooba Mufti, was marked by expressions of gratitude and commitment to the party’s cause.
Rather, known for his role as Chairman of the Municipal Council Pulwama, extended his appreciation for Mehbooba Mufti’s unwavering dedication and the PDP’s steadfast efforts in addressing the challenges faced by the people of Kashmir.
