Srinagar 22 Feb(KNB): A delegation of Associated Chamber and Commerce and Industries Kashmir (CCIK) led by its President Tariq Ghani along with Office Bearers Adnan Shah (Secretary General), M.M. Hussain (Jt. Sec General), Imran Nazir (Treasurer), Atif Khan (Chief Coordinator) met SMC Commissioner at Smart City office and discussed various issued related to Smart City.
The CCIK delegation appraised the Commissioner SMC about various issues regarding roads, parks, sanitation and parking. The Commissioner SMC gave a patient hearing to the delegation and also gave a brief detail of Smart City project for entire Srinagar city. The SMC Commissioner said that Smart City work is going on 24*7 in shifts and we are expecting that Smart City project will be completed in a time bound period so that people will come out of inconvenience.
Mr. Athar Amir also said that we know people are facing inconvenience of roads but SMC is sure that once the project is completed the entire Srinagar city will transform into a modern city with all public amenities.
The CCIK also discussed the matter of notice issued regarding the property tax. At the end CCIK delegation thanked Mr. Athar Amir for patient hearing and said that all the issues regarding Smart City and other issues related to SMC will be resolved at an earliest.(KNB)
