Zangam, Dec 20(KNB): An accident occurred on the National Highway near the petrol pump at Zangam when an Alto car bearing registration number JK05F-9964 lost control and rammed into an electric pole.
According to sources, the impact caused significant damage to the vehicle, while the driver sustained minor injuries. He was given immediate assistance at the spot and is reported to be out of danger.
Police reached the scene soon after the incident and initiated further proceedings. Traffic on the highway was briefly affected before being restored.
