Two militants killed and five Armymen injured in an encounter at Sutsoo Kalan area of Chatergam in Central Kashmir’s Budgam district.
A senior Police officer told that we have recovered also second militant body from encounter site along with one M4 rifle and a INSAS.
The identification of the militants was yet to be ascertained.
Earlier police officer told that one militant and five Armymen have been injured in gunfight in initial firing
The firing has stopped as off now but searches are going on.
Meanwhile, Srinagar police requests general public not to go near the Suthoo Kalan encounter site as it is being sanitized and cleared by Bomb Disposal (BD) squad of J&K Police.
People are requested to cooperate with police till area is properly checked/cleared by the SF’s/police of all the explosive materials.
