Srinagar, April 16(KNB): Safina Beigh, Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) State president for women’s wing demanded exemplary punishment for those accused in the Bandipora incident wherein a girl was allegedly raped by her father and termed it as shocking and unfortunate.
Safina Beigh in a statement demanded time bound probe into the incident and said that the punishments must be harsh for the culprit.
Safina stated that the incident was shameful and outrageous, such episodes in Kashmir are unfortunate and it stands the responsibility of every individual in the society to stop such crimes.
She further added that, police must investigate the matter thoroughly and the culprit be dealt with strictly so that such incidents will not occur in future.(KNB)
