Bandipora, Jan 30(KNB): The family member of a pregnant lady in Bandipora district hospital has accused hospital laboratory of giving him false blood test report.
As per the attendant who is also the husband of the pregnant lady, they were asked for cross match test while performing some pre surgery tests, and was shocked to see the haemoglobin report of his own which shows him O+ while his actual blood group is A+. He also alleged that he was asked to pay 400 as charges for the tests which are totally free for the pregnant ladies.
When Kashmir News bureau contacted Chief medical officer, Dr Bilkis Mir said, “we are investigating the said matter, and had set an inquiry team. Strict action will be taken who so ever found guilty.”
Meanwhile, Dr, Syed Rehman, Medical Officer said, “the accused have been suspended while further investigation is on.”(KNB)
