BHADERWAH MARCH 11:-SDPO Bhaderwah Iftkhar Ahmed Qurashi KPS held a meeting cum interactive session with Chemist Association of Bhaderwah town at Police Station Bhaderwah, in which some 20 Chemists of the area participated, and in the meeting held discussion regarding the problem of Drug abuse and role of Chemists to  curb the menace of drug abuse in Bhaderwah area. Participant put forth their Views on this issue.

While speaking on the occasion SDPO said that since Drug Abuse is a cause of Concern for the society and there is a need that every section of society must come forward to curb this menace. Since Chemist Association can play a vital role in identification of drug peddlers   /addicts, so they must come forward and strengthen the hand of Police to curb this menace.

SDPO further asked that chemists should not sell Insulin Syringes and drugs to youth which they can abuse, and medicines should be sold on proper prescriptions from Doctors only..

Chemist Association assured full cooperation of Police on this front..
