Srinagar, 23 Feb (KNB): Amid the apprehension among the people regarding the outcome of the supreme courts pleas on scrapping the article 35A and article 370 a special status to state of jammu and Kashmir , the chaos and speculation situation gripped the valley and a major crackdown was launched against the jamaat-e-islami and the separatist leader. The central Government and Ministry of home affairs in an urgent fax message ordered Hundred companies of the paramilitary forces to be rushed to the valley.
Besides the people living in the as many as 27 villages along the LOC in nowshera sector of jammu kashmirs Rajouri district were asked to be ready to vacate.
Meanwhile the a top police official on condition of the anonymity said, “The moves are being made for the upcoming lok sabha elections and added that these additional forces will remain in kashmir till the elections.”
He further said Government is planning to provide them a proper training regarding the landscape and make them familier with the situation of jammu and kashmir, the government is just being cautious after the deadly suicide attack in Pulwama.
