Srinagar 14 December (KNB): A medical camp was organised by Army woman doctor and local Arogya Sevikas for the old and needy ladies and children at Dabpal village of Macchal sector on Tuesday.
An official in a statement said that an Army woman doctor assisted by three Arogya Sevikas trained by the Army conducted a Medical Camp on 13 December at the remote and underdeveloped Dappal Village of Macchal Sector.
It was said that the focus of the medical camp was to attend to the medical needs of the elderly, needy, women and children in the ongoing harsh winter and snow season.
“A total of 57 persons of all age groups were provided medical treatment and medicines,” the statement reads.
It was also said that the medical camp was well received and more such camps are planned to provide succour to the citizens during the ongoing harsh winter and snow season. (KNB)
