Jammu, September 2(KNB): An Indian Army soldier, who was critically injured in a militant attack on an army camp in Sunjwan, Jammu, has succumbed to his injuries, officials confirmed on Monday.
The soldier was rushed to a hospital after suffering serious injuries in the attack, but he could not recover and died due to his wounds.
The attack on the army base camp in Sunjwan was carried out by militants earlier in the day, was retaliated by the army.
Additional reinforcements have been deployed to the area to ensure the situation is brought under control.(KNB)
