Anjuman urdu journalist’s meeting held in Srinagar

Srinagar, Jan 08(KNB):Anjuman Urdu Journalist’s emergency meeting of Jammu & Kashmir’s Core Group was held in Srinagar, which discussed the various matters of association. The meeting was promulgated on the basis of long-term consultation, after which the Election Commission was formed to hold fast and upholding of the organization’s elections.

Bureau chief of Urdu News Channel Zee salam, Syed Tajamul Islam has been appointed as Chief Election Commissioner, while the editor of Srinagar News agency ,Shaukat Sahil , and assistant editor associated with the Kashmir News Service news agency, Mir Irfan has been appointed as the Election Commissioner who will assist the Chief Election commissioner in the election process.

Apart from this, the appointment of two neutral election observers were also implemented, Sajjad Ahmed, the manager of news association Kashmir and Shafat Ahmad, producer of BBC Urdu production.The commission has also been given suggestions on election dates, but the election and final announcement of the election schedule will be done by the Election Commission.(KNB)
