“The present scenario of whatever is going on in South Kashmir with the corruption and protests motivates me to bring about a change. When it comes to the dignity of our youth, there are no policies and development in place and seeing this I realize that I can play a good role by becoming their representative in the parliament and making efforts to bring the entrepreneurial wave in Kashmir.
“I would like to see myself as the voice of the people and I am not here for power and position. I am the daughter of South Kashmir so I wanted to contest from here. and serve the best possible way to the common man”
She said, “the high way ban is affecting our economy as well the daily lives of people here. This should have thought of well and govt should have made sure that people or their work or their business do not get affected in anyway.”
“Kashmir being so resourceful place, organic foods be it rice or apples or saffron will thrive here. We only need to guide the farmers and we can make it a good source of economy here What are we studying so much for, why can’t we use that knowledge and training to help our own farmers and help them grow as well. More and more people are giving up farming and going for jobs as they feel farming doesn’t have money”
“Will provide Facilities in health centers at your doorstep as our healthcare centers are in worst conditions. We need more health practitioners and that as well will create jobs and our youth instead of throwing stones will serve the community in their own ways.”
Speaking on holy shrines in South Kashmir, Dr Ridwana said, “The government failed to brand holy shrines hygiene, We will make sure the shrines hygiene is maintained so that everyone can do prayers easily without any problems.”
