Srinagar, July 3(KNB): An Amarnath pilgrim, Shrutul Prasad Yadav, 71, son of Birbal Yadav, resident of unknown address, passed away at SKIMS Soura on Monday. The yatri was admitted to the hospital after suffering from loss of consciousness.
According to officials, the deceased yatri was brought to SKIMS Soura in a critical condition and succumbed to his illness. The body is currently lying in the mortuary at SKIMS Soura.
The authorities have initiated efforts to trace the family members of the deceased yatri to hand over the body.(KNB)
