Srinagar October 03(KNB): Welcoming Manoj sinha’s appeal to all those who have taken up arms in their hands to give up violence,.
AIP in a statement, has that said that there can be no two opinions about the LG advising to militants give up violence and to adopt the Mahatama Gandhi’s way of non violence.
AIP Spokesperson Firdous Baba reminded LG that it were Kashmir’s, who have suffered most because of militancy and uncertainty over past 32 years which undoubtedly is a long period.
Spokesperson however reminded LG that his passionate appeal would have carried meaningful and powerful message. Had people like Yasin Malik not been subjected to oppression, sent to Tihar Jail after he too had given up gun and adopted non violence in early 90’s. Firdous Baba added that who knows better than LG that how Er Rashid has been victimised despite the fact that he had given all his boats even his semantic career to join mainstream politics and had proved his worth over in last half decade but ended up as being labelled anti-national and Pakistan proxy despite having taken oath on constitution.
Spokesperson urged LG to take central leadership on board to initiate in order to end up violence by taking all stakeholders along.Spokesman reiterated that violence has no space in civilized society.Sincere & meaningful dialogue was the only way to resolve all the issues how complicated they may be.KNB
