Srinagar 25 November (KNB):Ahead of the day Mumbai attacks took place, posters against Pakistan have been raised in different areas of Srinagar, Jammu and Kashmir.
The posters with a heading “We won’t forget” reads, “we won’t forget how you showed no mercy, how you tried to break us, how you made us helpless.”
Further reads, “Pakistan and its sponsored terrorists wrecked havoc on 26/11 2008 in Mumbai,” adding that “India unites against terror.”
The 2008 Mumbai attacks(also referred to as 26/11) were a series of terrorist attacks that took place in November 2008, when 10 members of Lashkar-e-Taiba militants organisation carried out 12 coordinated shooting and bombing attacks lasting four days across Mumbai. The attacks, which drew widespread global condemnation, began on Wednesday 26 November and lasted until Saturday 29 November 2008. At least 174 people died, including 9 attackers, and more than 300 were wounded. (KNB)
