After Pulwama attack, Sikh groups offer shelter to students

Srinagar 19 Feb (KNB): Pulwama attack on the CRPF convey in lethpora pulwama in which 49 troopers were killed and various injured, resulted in the violent outburst and spontaneous  farce of violence among the common people against the kashmiri students businessmen and others residing outside the Kashmir are facing the threats and abuses, besides the wrath of the violence and  are blamed for the attack. The violent incidents of the kashmiri has been glorified as patriotic by the various sects of society.

The situation in jammu was same as the crowds got berserk and started the rampage the against the kashmiris and hurled the stones on the official accommodation and set the vehicles on fire.

Amid the chaos and voilence various people have started to come for the help of the kashmiris .Khalsa Aid  a sikh organisation has arranged about a dozens of the vehicles for the stranded students in Dehradun and about 250 students were send  to Kashmir. The khalsa aid volunteers also made the arrangements for the students to travel from the dehradun to Chandigarh safely and started the langers for the kashmiris in Chandigarh

A group of students  at the camp talking to KNB on phone narrated “After the pulwama attack the whole scenario  and atmosphere became violent in the college and we were attacked from every side, threats and abuses were hurled at us

“They said were confined to the rooms and even didn’t got the food for the two days as we were frightened and didn’t came out of rooms and kept lightings off to pretend as   there was no one inside rooms.”

During these days Government of  Jammu and Kashmir didn’t bothered about our fate  and we were left to die. We are very thankful of sikh brothers and khalsa Aid that they arranged the  vehicle to rescue us from the crisis and violence, they further said.” (KNB)
