Reasi 7 April (KNB): A tanker, late last night, met an accident in Reasi district of Jammu division, killing two people and injuring two others.
Officials said that a tanker bearing number JK02AB-9882, was on way from Reasi to Dugga when it met with an accident at Karka and fell into a deep gorge.
Two persons, namely 26-years old, Mohinder Pal resident of Gabbar Tehsil Bhomag and 21-years old, Dhayan Singh resident of Lamsora Arnas, died on spot while two others, identified as Tariq Bashir and Surjeet Singh, both residents of Dharote suffered serious injuries, officials said.
They added that both the injured were shifted to district hospital Reasi for treatment and afterwards, doctors referred Surjeet to GMC Jammu for advance treatment.
Moreover, in this regard, officials said that a case has been registered at Police Station Arnas. (KNB)
