Srinagar, Oct 30 (KNB): Shopian Police have busted an alleged terror financing module operating within Jammu and Kashmir and arrested 10 overground workers (OGWs), officials said on Friday.
The arrests followed an investigation into suspected financial transactions linked to terrorist activities, officials said.
During the probe, police analysed suspicious online transactions made through different payment platforms and traced money trails across multiple layers. The investigation reportedly revealed a wider network of individuals suspected of channeling funds to support terrorist activities.
Officials said the network also allegedly had links with terrorists and their associates lodged in different jails.
Ten suspected associates have been arrested so far in connection with the case, they added.
