Srinagar, Sept. 29 (KNB): A Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) personnel allegedly opened fire at a camp in Jammu and Kashmir’s Kathua district on Tuesday, killing four of his colleagues, including an Assistant Commandant, officials said.
According to sources, the incident took place at a CISF camp located in the hills of Basohli near the Sewa Power Project.
The CISF personnel, identified as a Head Constable, allegedly opened fire following an argument with his colleagues. Four personnel were killed in the firing, including an Assistant Commandant, sources said. (NDTV)
The accused Head Constable has been handed over to the police, while further investigation into the circumstances leading to the firing is underway.
