Jammu, September 1 (KNB): Army Commander Northern Command and Colonel of the Madras Regiment, Lt Gen Pratik Sharma, visited Madras Regiment units at Miran Sahib, BD Bari and Samba, where he interacted with serving personnel and veterans.
During the visit, Lt Gen Sharma commended the troops for their exemplary professionalism, dedication and commitment to duty. He exhorted the soldiers to continue striving for excellence in all fields and uphold the high standards and traditions of the regiment.
The Army Commander also interacted with veterans and acknowledged their valuable contribution and enduring association with the Madras Regiment.
The visit highlighted the Army leadership’s continued emphasis on operational preparedness, professionalism and strengthening the bond between serving personnel and veterans.(KNB)
