Qazigund, Aug 18 (KNB): Five personnel of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) were injured after a CRPF vehicle collided with a truck near Levdura area of Qazigund along the Jammu-Srinagar National Highway on Tuesday morning.
Officials said that the injured personnel were immediately shifted to a nearby hospital for medical treatment, where their condition is being monitored by doctors.
The injured have been identified as Inspector Raj Kumar Tiwari, SI/GD Rajinder Singh, ASI/GD Lovenday, ASI/GD Umesh Kumar and Head Constable/Driver Virender.
Police and other concerned agencies have taken cognizance of the incident. Further details are awaited.(KNB)
