JK High Court Bar Association Backs 100-Day ‘Nasha Mukt JK Abhiyaan’

Srinagar, Apr 12(KNB): The Jammu & Kashmir High Court Bar Association, Srinagar, along with the Kashmir Advocates Association, on Sunday extended wholehearted support to the 100-day “Nasha Mukt Jammu Kashmir Abhiyaan” launched by Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on April 11.

In a press statement issued to news agency Kashmir News Bureau that the association termed the anti-drug campaign a “timely and decisive initiative” aimed at eradicating the growing menace of drug addiction and trafficking from the Union Territory.

The Bar Association said the mass movement would prove to be a game-changer in safeguarding the future of youth and restoring the social fabric of Jammu and Kashmir.

It also expressed full support to the Lieutenant Governor’s leadership, saying the legal fraternity of Kashmir stands shoulder to shoulder with the administration in this noble cause and is committed to contributing in every possible manner to ensure the success of the campaign.

The association appealed to members of the Bar, civil society, youth, parents, teachers, religious leaders and citizens to actively participate and make the Nasha Mukt JK campaign a grand success.(KNB)
