Jammu, 09 April(KNB): In a significant administrative development, Indian Police Service (IPS) officer Sargun Shukla has been promoted to the rank of Deputy Inspector General (DIG) and posted to head the Doda–Kishtwar–Ramban (DKR) Range, marking a major milestone in her career.
The promotion places her among the young and dynamic officers entrusted with maintaining law and order in one of the sensitive regions of Jammu and Kashmir. Her appointment reflects the growing confidence of the administration in her leadership abilities and field experience.
A 2012-batch IPS officer, Shukla belongs to a new generation of officers known for their professionalism, discipline, and people-centric policing approach.
