Indian Army’s 52 RR Organises Iftaar Gathering in Tarzoo, Strengthening Bond with Locals

Sopore, March 12(KNB): In a gesture of goodwill and communal harmony during the holy month of Ramadan, the Indian Army’s 52 Rashtriya Rifles (Ningli Camp) organised a grand Iftaar Party at Tarzoo in Sopore on Thursday evening.

Hundreds of local residents, elders, youth, and community members gathered at the venue and participated in the Iftaar, breaking their fast together with Army personnel. The event created an atmosphere of warmth, mutual respect, and unity as locals and soldiers shared meals and exchanged greetings.

During the gathering, Army officials highlighted the importance of peace, brotherhood, and cooperation between security forces and the local population. The initiative was aimed at strengthening trust and promoting harmony in the region, especially during the sacred month of Ramadan which symbolises compassion, generosity, and togetherness.
