Jammu, Jan 24(KNB): The Wrestling Association of Jammu and Kashmir is set to organise selection trials for the Federation Cup 2026 on January 27 at the University of Jammu Wrestling Hall.
The trials will be conducted in collaboration with the Directorate of Sports and Physical Education, University of Jammu, under the auspices of the Wrestling Federation of India, J&K Sports Council and J&K Olympic Association.
Wrestlers selected in each weight category will represent Jammu and Kashmir at the Federation Cup, scheduled to be held at Dasna, Ghaziabad (Uttar Pradesh) from February 12 to 14, 2026.
All competitors born in 2005 or earlier are eligible to participate. Wrestlers born in 2006 may also take part subject to submission of valid medical and parental certificates. Interested participants have been asked to report to the venue at 8 am along with a photocopy of their Aadhaar card.
