Budgam, Jan 22 (KNB): A man was seriously injured on Thursday evening after coming into contact with a live electric wire that snapped amid strong winds and stormy weather in Budgam district.
According to reports received by the news agency *Kashmir News Bureau (KNB)*, the incident took place in Choon area when high-velocity winds caused an overhead power line to break and fall. The injured has been identified as Bashir Ahmad, a local resident.
Following the incident, the man was immediately shifted to a nearby medical facility for treatment. Hospital sources said his condition is serious.
Authorities have taken note of the incident and are assessing the situation, while further details regarding the injured man’s condition are awaited. —(KNB)
