NIA Arrests Another Key Aide Linked to Delhi Blast Conspiracy

New Delhi, Nov 17(KNB): The National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Monday arrested another crucial associate of the terrorist involved in the Red Fort area car bomb blast, further tightening its probe into the deadly attack.

According to a statement issued to Kashmir News Bureau (KNB), the agency arrested Jasir Bilal Wani alias Danish, a resident of Srinagar, during a coordinated operation in the Valley. The arrest was made in connection with case RC-21/2025/NIA/DLI7

NIA investigations have revealed that Jasir played a significant technical role in the terror plot, allegedly modifying drones and attempting to develop rockets for potential attacks in the lead-up to the blast. The Red Fort area explosion claimed 10 lives and left 32 people injured.

A resident of Qazigund in Anantnag district, Jasir is believed to be an active co-conspirator who worked closely with the main accused, Umar un Nabi, to execute the terror strike, the NIA stated.

The agency added that it is actively pursuing multiple leads to uncover the broader conspiracy. Several NIA teams are conducting searches across different states to identify all individuals connected to the attack.(KNB)
