Srinagar 01 Nov(KNB): The Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) has awarded the “Kendriya Grihmantri Dakshata Padak” to 19 Jammu and Kashmir Police officers, including IGP Kashmir Vidhi Kumar Birdi and SSP Srinagar G.V. Sundeep Chakraborty, for their role in Operation Mahadev.
This operation led to the killing of three Pakistani terrorists involved in the April 22 Pahalgam terror attack and other terror activities.
The awarded officers played key roles in neutralizing the terrorists and recovering significant arms and ammunition, marking a major success against cross-border terror networks.(KNB)
