Srinagar 27 Aug(KNB): In response to the severe weather conditions and unprecedented rains that have disrupted telecom services in Jammu, Kashmir, Ladakh, and Himachal Pradesh, Airtel has announced a series of support measures for its customers.

While talking to news agency Kashmir News Bureau, Airtel spokesperson said that unprecedented rains and extreme weather have severely disrupted telecom services across Jammu, Kashmir, Ladakh, and Himachal Pradesh. In these challenging times, staying connected is more important than ever.

To support our customers, Airtel is introducing special measures:• Prepaid customers whose plans are expiring this week, will receive a 3-day extension with unlimited calls and 1GB data per day, even if they are unable to recharge.• Postpaid and broadband customers will get a 3-day grace period on bill payments to ensure uninterrupted services. Intra-Circle Roaming (ICR) has been enabled in Jammu, Kashmir, and Himachal Pradesh so customers can stay connected through other available networks.

Our teams are working tirelessly on the ground to restore services at the earliest. Airtel stands with the people of these regions and remains committed to keeping them connected, he said.(KNB)
