Baramulla, Sept 14(KNB): Three Militants have been killed in an encounter at Chak Tappar, Pattan, in North Kashmir’s Baramulla district.
The operation, which began late Friday night, resulted in the killing of two more unidentified terrorists, adding to the initial one killed earlier, reports said.
According to officials, the terrorists were cornered inside a school building, prompting a joint team of Army’s 29 RR, CRPF, and Jammu and Kashmir Police to launch a cordon and search operation. As the team approached the suspected spot, the hiding terrorists opened fire, triggering a fierce encounter.
The search operation is still underway, with security forces.(KNB)
