Srinagar, July 27 (KNB) – A cross-border exchange of fire along the Line of Control (LoC) in Macchil sector of Kupwara district has left five Indian Army personnel including a Major injured, and one solidier lost his life, officials confirmed on Saturday.
According to sources, the firing occurred near the Kamkari post in the Macchil sector of the north Kashmir district.
The operation is currently ongoing, and further details are awaited, officials said.(KNB)
