Baramulla 13 July(KNB): In a significant breakthrough, the Kreeri Police Station in Baramulla has arrested a gang of three fraudsters who had been deceiving unsuspecting individuals in the area.
According to police, The accused, identified as Mudasir Ahmad Mir, Firdosue Ahmad Mir @ Sameer Khan, and Syed Akther, were taken into custody on July 13 for their involvement in cheating people under the pretext of selling and purchasing vehicles and promising government jobs in reputable institutions like banks and government departments.
Acting swiftly, the police registered an FIR (No. 100/24 U/s 318(4) BNS) and apprehended the accused, who are currently under police custody. Further investigation is underway, and additional arrests are expected as the probe unfolds, statement added.(KNB)
