Baramulla June 23(KNB): During an ongoing anti-infiltration operation in Jammu and Kashmir’s Uri sector, security forces recovered the body of a militant on Sunday.
An official stated that while one terrorist’s body was found, the search for the other is still underway. The operation remains active in the area.
On Saturday, security forces killed at least two militants after challenging a group of intruders along the Line of Control (LoC) in the Uri sector.
The bodies of the two terrorists could not be retrieved on Saturday as they were located close to the LoC, he said.(KNB)
