JKSSB 2024: Indian Army Opens Doors for Underprivileged Students

Srinagar 08 June(KNB): The Indian Army has launched the Jammu and Kashmir Special Scholarship Scheme (JKSSS) for the year 2024, offering a beacon of hope to economically disadvantaged students seeking higher education. Announced this week this initiative is part of the Army’s commendable ‘Operation Sadbhavana’, which aims to foster goodwill and support the educational aspirations of the youth in the region.The registration for the highly anticipated JKSSS for higher education has commenced.

This laudable initiative, fully funded by the Northern Command, has been met with immense gratitude from students across the J&K, Ladakh particularly those who face financial barriers in pursuing their academic dreams.

The scholarship scheme, which has been a beacon of hope for countless families, is now within reach as the application portal opens its doors to eligible candidates.

Ayaan, one of the student expressed his heartfelt thanks to the Indian army for their support. “We are very thankful to the army for providing us with this scholarship. Initiatives like these can help students like us to reach our goals,” he stated while talking with news agency Kashmir News Bureau-KNB.

Basit, another student, shared his elation, “My dream comes true as the scholarship is open now.” The sentiment of appreciation and optimism is palpable among the student community, as this scholarship paves the way for them to embark on a journey of learning and growth without the burden of financial constraints.
