Rajouri October 2(KNB): An encounter between security forces and Militants has been broke out during a search operation in the Rajouri district of Jammu and Kashmir.
As per the reports reaching to news agency Kashmir News Bureau that, acting on credible intelligence, a joint team of Indian Army and police launched a search operation in the the forest area of Kalakote of Rajouri.
The operation swiftly escalated into an encounter as the security forces closed in on the suspected militants.
As the exchange of fire continues, the area has been cordoned off, and reinforcements have been rushed to the area to plug all possible escape routes, they said.(KNB)
