Srinagar, August 29 (KNB): Srinagar police have apprehended two individuals identified as Abrar Shabir, son of Shabir Dar and Rahil Ali, son of Ali Mohd Pehloo, in connection with the assault and injury of a polytechnic student. The incident took place in the Chadoora area, prompting the authorities to take swift action.
The victim, a polytechnic student, was reportedly attacked with a sharp-edged weapon, leading to severe injuries. The Srinagar police acted promptly and registered a First Information Report (FIR) under number 89/2023 at the Bemina Police Station. The investigation revealed that the attack was premeditated.
During the course of the investigation, the police successfully recovered the weapon used in the assault. (KNB)
