Srinagar 16 June (KNB): Centre for Peace and Proress will hold a round table conference on ” Another Look at Article 370 and 35A” on Saturday 17 June tomorrow 2 PM at the India International Cente in New Delhi, the conference will be attending by prominent personalities from Jammu and Kashmir.
National Conference President Dr. Farooq Abdullah , PDP President Mehbooba Mufti, Awami National Conference Senior Vice President Muzaffar Shah, Member of Parliament Justice (R) Hasnain Masoodi, CPIM leader Muhammad Yusuf Tarigami, People’s Conference Senior leader Nizamuddin Bhat, J&K People’s Party Sheeban Ishai and well-known figures from Civil Society, Kashmir watchers have been specially invited in the Conference.
Besides, well-known personalities from Kashmiri Pandit community are invited, including Air Vice Marshal Kapil Kak (Retd), eminent lawyer and Senior Supreme Court Advocate Ashok Bhan.
Head of Center for Peace and Progress and noted political analyst and track II diplomat OP Shah is also participating in this day-long meeting.
“In this meeting, apart from the important discussion on Article 370 and 35A, there will also be a discussion on the elections and the restoration of statehood in Jammu and Kashmir. Participants will present their view points”. one of the invitees told KNB
