J&K Teachers Forum demands immediate filling of all vacant posts

Srinagar 8 Dec(KNB): J&K Teachers forum demands immediate filling of all vacant posts which will help the speed of work culture in the department.

In a press statement issued to news agency Kashmir News Bureau-KNB by spokesperson of the Jammu and Kashmir Teachers Forum Tahir Ahmad Sofi said that that the Jammu and Kashmir Teachers Forum demands immediate filling of all vacant posts which in turn will help to speed up the work culture in the department.

Spokesperson of the Jammu and Kashmir Teachers Forum Mr Tahir Ahmad Sofi said that several districts are without the CEO’s, and the various positions of Principals, ZEOs, Headmaster, Lecturers are also vacant in Valley which hampers the education system of the UT.

The spokesperson added many key positions, are run by one or other officials as additional charge and that this additional charge syndrome has affected the work culture in the department as it’s not possible for a person to manage several positions alone.

He further said that teachers and importantly students are facing immense hardships to get their demands, issues addressed in time.The official key positions are vacant given the burden of work due to which education of childrens are badly effected.

Spokesperson Tahir Sofi emphasised on the need to fill all the vacant posts in the department which in turn will promote the work culture within the department so that the issues of teachers and students will be addressed on time.

The leadership of the forum headed by its Chairman Mr Mohammad Amin Khan in one voice requested the Administration, particularly Worthy secretary UT of JK to fill all the Principal posts at the earliest so that teachers, students and institutions may not suffer for want of DDOs as this has directly effected the education of childrens and sometimes even poor performance of the institutions for lack of accountability.(KNB)
