TV reality show on ANN News creates buzz on social media

Srinagar, Dec 1: Kashmir’s own Tv reality show for school children has created buzz on social media with aspirant contestants eagerly waiting to sit on Hot Seat to get the title “Goldmedalist.”
The ANN News — Kashmir’s first and only own 24*7 Tv News channel in its promotional video announced that registration lines are open and students from class 1 to class 12 are eligible to participate.
In the game, the contestants are aided by four lifelines that one can exercise in case of difficulty in answering the question. The total number of questions asked to one contestant is 12, with each question coming with four options. The contestant has to choose correct option.  
The promotional video of Kashmir’s popular Tv News channel was retweeted by many suggests that the first stage can give winner and bronze medal, second stage silver medal and the third which is final stage can give winner the gold medal, trophy and certificate.
This is second Tv reality show by ANN News after it successfully held Who Will Ne The Lakhpati.
Numerous neitizens also shared the video of Goldmedalist Tv show with text showing their eagerness to participate as contestants or send their wards and looking forward to watch the reality show.
The promotional video of the show to be hosted by Mudasir Yaqoob opens with the lines “Answering 12 questions can make you the goldmedalist. You are aided with four lifelines. Come on hot seat prove your mettle and win lakhs.”
ANN News Editor in Chief Tariq Bhat said that ANN News has received hundreds of calls people showing much interest to participate and watch.
 
“We are glad to see the response of our esteemed viewers. This show is children special where we want to spread knowledge and encourage them,” he said while responding to a question.
 
He added that he is sure the show is going to change the life of many contestants, adding: “there is no doubt we have knowledgeable students who can make it to huge gold medal.”
  
ANN News Executive Editor and chief to the Board of Directors Mudasir Yaqoob said the entire process for selection of contestants is based on their registration. “Unlike KBL, there are no auditions. A contestant has to register successfully and will be directly invited on hot heat.”
The aiding lifelines to the contestant available are fifty-fifty, phone-in-friend, ask the teacher and ask the host.
By using lifeline ask the host, the contestant can directly ask the host to help him finding the correct answer.
