Shopian 30 Aug(KNB): Two LeT militants were on Tuesday killed in an encounter with security forces in Shopian district of south Kashmir, police said. Security forces launched an anti-militancy operation on Tuesday in the Nagbal village of Zainapora area of Kulgam, following information of militants in the area.
After initial exchange of firing with security forces, security forces maintained the cordon and continued the search operation which resulted in a fresh firefight, leading to the killing of two LeT militants, the reports said.
