MOA inked between Directorate of skill development J&K with Industrial Association Lassipora, Pulwama.

Pulwama 03 June(KNB): DSD Directorate of Skill Development J&K and the Industrial Association Lassipora (IAL) inked an MOA to collaborate on skill development of first generation entrepreneurship.

The purpose of this collaboration is to bridge the gap between new young first entrepreneurs with Existing experienced industrialists to meet, assist, learn and work with almost 400 small and medium-sized enterprises in the Lassipora Industrial Estate in Pulwama.

During the interaction on the occasion Director DSD Mr. Sudershan Kumar (IAS) called this MOA landmark achievement in the journey of IAL industry partnership and said, “Challenges of creating self employment, industrial sense among youth will get a boost with these kinds of collaborations and provide an opportunity for both skill development, Self employment and youth of J&K would inter alia help MSME’s by making use of IAL initiatives for the promotion of innovation, incubation, entrepreneurship, research and development.”

President of the Industrial Association of Lassipora, Haji Muhammad Muzafar Ahangar pledged IAL’s full support for collaboration with the DSD in the implementation of all the initiatives outlined in the MOA. He further noted that the talented youth of J&K could benefit from at-least 30 lines of industrial operations active at the industrial park. Financial Secretary of the IAL, Mr. Sarwar Malik, gave a brief overview of the IAL and expressed his hope that this collaboration between DSD – IAL would provide a glimmer of hope for the unemployed educated youth of the UT.(KNB)
