23-year’s-old youth goes missing from Pattan Baramulla, family appeals for return.

Pattan 13 May(KNB): Family of a 23 year old youth are desperately urging him to return while they are frantically running from pillar to post in his search.

Irshad Ahmad Mir, 23, son of Abdul Rehman Mir of Nehalpora Pattan has been missing and untraceable for the family since Monday.

“There is no trace of him,” his visible diaturbed father told KNB. “I want him back, come back my son, you are an apple of my eye.”

While the family has since been in shock and frustration has seeped into members, they say they are unable to sleep or eat.

“On monday evening Irshad went out, after he failed to return we began calling him,” Mir told KNB.

His phone since then is switched off.

The family made frantic calls to relatives and friends but he was no where to be found.

“After falling to get any clue about him,we lodged his missing report at the concerned police station,” Mir said.

A police officer confided to KNB, on the basis of anonymity, that they have launched efforts to trace the boy. “Efforts are on and yes they have lodged to missing report,” he told KNB.

Mir’s have requested authorities and the public to help them in tracing their missing son.

“I want my son back, come back my son,” his father cried as others consoled him.
