Anantnag 09 April(KNB): A firefight raged between security forces and militants In Sirhama area of South Kashmir’s Anantnag district, Police said.
According to reports reaching to news agency KNB, Joint forces had a specific input about the presence of militants in Sirhama Srigufwara area of Bijbhera in South Kashmir’s Anantnag district they laid a cordon.
As the forces narrowed the search, hiding militants fired at them.
The exchange of fire was going on when the reports last came in.
Mobile Internet has been suspected in some parts of Anantnag for precautionary measures.(KNB)
