Srinagar 28 December (KNB): The government of J&K on Tuesday accorded sanction for the nomination of Administrative Secretary Forest, Ecology and Environment Department (FEED) as representative at UT level for National Task Force to eliminate identified Single Use Plastics.
The official has been nominated as the representative at J&K UT level in the Nation Task Force after the Centre’s guidelines for elimination of the Single Use Plastic and addressing Plastic Pollution, as per the order.
The government order in this regard said that “In pursuance of the notified Guidelines by the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change, Government of India for elimination of the Single Use Plastic and addressing Plastic Pollution, sanction is hereby accorded to the nomination of Administrative Secretary, Forest, Ecology and Environment Department as representative of the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir in the National Task Force.” (KNB)
