Srinagar 29 November (KNB): To discharge functions mentioned in Memorandum of Understanding to provide technical and financial support for restoration of Shalimar and Nishat Bagh gardens here, Director Floriculture Kashmir, Farooq Ahmad Rather, has been appointed its Nodal Officer on Monday.
An official order in this regard said that “Farooq Ahmad Rather, Director Floriculture, Kashmir shall be the Nodal Officer for discharge of functions enumerated in clause 3.4 of the Memorandum of Understanding with regard to providing Technical & Financial Support for restoration of the Mughal Gardens of Kashmir – Shalimar Bagh & Nishat Bagh.”
Last month, the J&K government had given accord to the constitution of the Project Monitoring Committee (PMC), regarding to provide technical and financial support for the restoration of the Mughal Gardens — Shalimar and Nishat Bagh. (KNB)
