Srinagar 25 November (KNB): National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Thursday morning carried out raids in Central Kashmir’s Srinagar and South Kashmir’s Shopian district.
The raids from NIA were carried out in the residential house of human rights activist advocate Parvaiz Imroz in Srinagar’s Kralpora area and at the residences of several others in Shopain’s Wachi area.
The persons whose residential houses were scoured by NIA sleuths in Shopian’s Wachi area belong to different professions, one of whom is a private teacher and activist of JeI, as per sources.
During the raids, the agency was accompanied by CRPF troopers and local police of the area.
The raids came after a one was carried out by NIA recently on the office and residence of human rights activist Khurram Parvaiz in Srinagar. (KNB)
