Home Minister Amit Shah meets Kashmiri youth leader Mir Junaid

Srinagar October 26:  Mir Junaid, president J&K Workers Party today met the Home Minister of India, Amit Shah at Raj Bhavan.

Mir congratulated him for the historic decision of August 5, 2019 and said that it was metaphorical
of the first dawn Kashmir had seen after a prolonged darkness of deceit and lies.

In a statement issued here, He pointed out that before that day, every penny that came from the Centre would go into the pockets of the dynasts, leaving the poor people at the mercy.

After their shop of deceit, corruption, lies was shut, Kashmir is on the path to Prosperity and he being a grass root worker is witness to it.

Mir said in a statement that for J&K to become a giver & not a taker, we need to have the optimism towards positive modern living based on contemporary ideas of liberalisation & globalisation. The militants don’t want J&K to reach its economic zenith. We need to obliterate militancy as a priority, further said in a statement.

Talking about Dynasty Politics, he said that Kashmiris have now seen the face of these chameleons who in reality are Pakistan Proxies in Kashmir. If you talk to any Kashmiri on the road, he will tell you that they (NC, PDP) are the ones responsible for the death & destruction in J&K.

He also congratulated the Home Minister on his vision to expand the youth forums in the Panchayats at a war footing. He said that Youth are the flesh and blood of a nation, and any nation would only grow when they are nurtured.

“Sadly,” he added, “Traditional Parties in J&K never groomed youth to be leaders, but only as their serfs. Tell me one Youth leader in NC at this point, who is not a dynast? Why is it that young people are only supposed to carry their bags, and open their car doors? No wonder they are hated so much by common hardworking people.”

The Home Minister in-turn listened keenly to Mir, and told him that it was people like him who were the future of J&K, and in-turn promised all support to him.

The meeting was extremely fruitful, and may turn into a game changer in J&K politics. The Home Minister appreciated the efforts of Mir Junaid for the cause of Nation building in Kashmir. He asked Mir to invite as many youth to the domain of mainstream politics.

Amit Shah said that the future belongs to the youth and the reigns of politics belong to the youth.
Mir told the Home Minister that his efforts for the national cause will continue. (KNB)
